It has been three weeks since the launch of my first-ever book, and I wanted to give you all an update on the progress.
So far, New Beginnings has sold 20 paperbacks, 5 eBooks, and has had the equivalent of 6 books read on Kindle Unlimited — about 31 copies in total.
The feedback has been extremely positive. While much of it has come from family and friends, I should point out that the majority are not science fiction readers. When I explained the story as “an action story in a space setting,” I’m not sure many understood what I meant — but thankfully, once they read it, they enjoyed it.
The support and encouragement I’ve had from family and friends mean more than I can say. I’m really grateful to you all. Sincere thanks to everyone who purchased a copy. If you’re not sure it’s your thing but have Kindle Unlimited, you can always give it a try for free.
Because of family reasons, I haven’t yet been able to promote the book the way it deserves. We moved house and then had our twin grandsons stay with us for ten days, which made writing work impossible. I’m hoping to start a more vigorous promotional campaign shortly.
Thank you all.
